Microsoft Azure AD Usage Integration

Overview

Spendflo integrates with Microsoft Azure AD to sync the list of apps and their users. You also get the usage details of your entire SaaS stack with this integration.

Prerequisites

  • To begin the installation, you must be a Microsoft Azure administrator. If you have someone in your organization who can create Azure connections, they are likely an administrator.
  • For Spendflo to pull sign-in info from Azure AD, it requires you to have a premium license (P1). Without this license, Spendflo cannot retrieve the SaaS applications connected to your Azure Active Directory information.
  • The user who connects Azure AD to Spendflo should have a P1 license. That should cost around $6/month

Steps to Integrate with Merge

Step 1. Open your Microsoft Azure portal and log in as an administrator

Step 2. Go to the Active Directory option.

Step 3. In the Overview tab, you’ll see the Tenant ID, copy and save it somewhere; we’ll need this in the further steps.

Step 4. Head to the Spendflo App Integrations Available Apps and click on the + Connect button under Microsoft Azure AD integration.

Step 5. Read the permissions that Spendflo needs for this integration and click continue.

Step 6. In this step paste the Tenant ID that we copied from the Azure portal in the initial steps, click continue.

Step 7. Once the Tenant ID is pasted, you'll be asked to authorize your access in the Azure active directory; click the open window to proceed with the authorization.

Step 8. You’ll be redirected to the Azure portal, log in as an admin, and provide permissions requested by the Spendflo app.

Step 9. Once the permissions are accepted, you’ll see a Setup confirmation prompt on your screen; click Finish Setup; your integration is successful.

Note: The data will start flowing into the insights page within the next 24 hours.

Step 10. If you want to remove the Microsoft Azure AD integration, then, head to the integration page in Spendflo and select the "Connected" tab.

Step 11. Click on the delete icon and then click on "Remove" in the confirmation box

The integration will successfully be deleted.

Note: Removing the integration will stop any new data flows. However, you will continue to see the old data. If you want to complete wipe your data, then please drop an email to "support@spendflo.com."
