BambooHr Integration

Overview

Spendflo offers seamless integration with BambooHR, a popular HR management system, allowing you to streamline your employee data and enhance your SaaS management process. This guide will walk you through the steps to integrate Spendflo with BambooHR using two methods. Choose the method that best suits your preferences and needs.


Method 1: Authentication through BambooHR's Website (Recommended)


Open Spendflo Integrations Page


Start by logging into your Spendflo account and navigate to the Spendflo Integrations page from Settings>Management Hub>Integrations.



Locate BambooHr


Under the "Available" section of the integrations page, locate "BambooHR" in the HRMS category. Click Connect 




Authentication 


Choose the option that reads "I want to authenticate through BambooHR's website (Recommended)" and click "Next."




Enter Sub-domain


Input your BambooHR sub-domain name. Your sub-domain is the prefix word of your organization's Bamboohr URL. For example, if the Bmaboohr URL for an organization is acme.bamboohr.com then the sub-domain will be "acme".

After entering the value click Submit




Open Authentication Window


Click "Open Window" to initiate the authentication process.




Provide Credentials


In the newly opened window, enter your BambooHR admin credentials and log in. Once authenticated, the window will automatically close, or you can manually close it.




Return to Spendflo


After returning to app.spendflo.com, you will be presented with the connected screen.




Continue and Review Permissions


Click "Continue," and you will be taken to the permissions screen. Ensure that everything is integrated properly, then click "Done."




Successful Connection


You will now see the BambooHR app listed under the "Connected" section, indicating a successful integration.


Please note that the data from BambooHR can take up to 24 hours to reflect on the Spendflo App



Method 2: Integration using API Key


Login to your BambooHr Account


Before proceeding to Spendflo, log in to your BambooHR account.




Access API Keys

 

Click on your account name at the top-right corner of the BambooHR interface. Then, select "API Keys" from the options. Click "Add New Key."





Generate API Key


Enter a name for your API Key and click "Generate Key."




Copy API Key


Once generated, copy the API Key. This key will be used during the integration process.




Open Spendflo Integrations Page


Log into your Spendflo account and navigate to the Spendflo Integrations page from Settings>Management Hub>Integrations.



Locate BambooHr

 

Under the "Available" section of the integrations page, locate "BambooHR" in the HRMS category. Click Connect 




Authentication


Choose "I want to use my API Key or Access Token." and click "Next."


Enter Sub-domain


Input your BambooHR sub-domain name. Your sub-domain is the prefix word of your organization's Bamboohr URL. For example, if the Bmaboohr URL for an organization is acme.bamboohr.com then the sub-domain will be "acme".

After entering the value, click Submit.



Enter API Key


Paste the API Key you copied earlier into the provided field. Click "Submit."




Continue and Review Permissions


Click "Continue," and you will be taken to the permissions screen. Ensure that everything is integrated properly, then click "Done."



Integration Complete


Once the integration process is complete and successful, you will be notified with a final screen confirming the integration. Your Spendflo and BambooHR accounts are now connected, allowing for streamlined data sharing and enhanced SaaS Management.



Please note that the data from BambooHR can take up to 24 hours to reflect on the Spendflo App
