Overview
Workflows are structured sequences of tasks and activities available to meet specific organizational objectives. They automate routine tasks, reduce human error, and ensure that all steps are consistently followed.
In procurement, workflows provide clear accountability and process visibility and facilitate cross-functional collaboration with relevant stakeholders. They enhance visibility into procurement activities, enabling better decision-making and timely responses. Additionally, workflows help automate approvals, maintain audit trails, and optimize resource usage, ultimately improving operational effectiveness and cost savings.
And that’s what Spendflo's Procurement Workflows offer. Our intelligent workflows are:
Agile: Easy to set up and deploy
Seamless: Parallel approvals for zero delays, zero errors
Customizable: Tailored forms, approval flows, and more
In-house: Embedded procurement team to route and workflows
All these are offered along with adept and dedicated experts who will support the organization with workflow creation and assist in negotiating and procuring SaaS.
Workflow Personas
Workflows with Spendflo are categorized based on the following personas and categories:
Admin — This category is organization-managed, where the admins create and manage all the workflows in the organization. They also own the access controls for approvals.
Task Owers and Requesters—This category is also organization-managed, where the task owners and users access the created workflows according to the role permissions granted.
Spendflo-managed — This category is managed by the Spendflo team, which works with the teams in the organization to develop custom workflows and help create them based on business requirements.
Workflow Studio
Once a workflow is created, the Workflow Studio is presented. A workflow can be created in two ways: as an all-new custom workflow or with the help of a built-in, editable template.
Once created, admins can customize and manage the workflows with an intuitive, no-code drag-and-drop interface known as the Workflow Studio. The arena consists of a space where the workflow’s flow can be visualized, built, and modified, making it easy to access without needing technical expertise.
Lastly, the Studio also has a rule engine that allows admins with the necessary permissions to define conditionality within the workflow. Conditionality can be defined between various parameters, like two or more tasks or between two or more fields.
